LibrariesNI, Supporting Communities, Digi Skills, Ulster Bank, Ignite IT and RNIB have all teamed up to provide remote training on many topics including:
- social media
- iPads
- e-magazines
- device settings
- shopping online
- apps
- scams
- passwords
These informational sessions can help you stay safe online, give you the resources and tools to improve your skills, get and stay connected, enjoy life remotely – and more. Extra sessions on Google Classroom, employability skills, digital banking and accessibility software are available to join.
Also, there will be a number of one- to-one sessions available to guide you through most topics including ‘Zoom basics’.
And finally, if you have an issue with your device there are Fix IT Surgeries that could help with all those settings and updates.
All the sessions are free but they should be booked in advance and then just join in on the day.
