Millions of people across the UK experience communication difficulties every day. The Communication Access Symbol and training will support inclusive communication for all.
Communication Access UK is an initiative developed by the RCSLT, in partnership with several leading charities and organisations, that share a vision to improve the lives of people with communication difficulties.
In an attempt to make life easier for those with this invisible disability, Communication Access UK launched a new Communication Access Symbol; created for businesses, organisations and consumers, with underpinning training and standards.
The blue symbol, bearing two people face to face, is the brainchild of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) in partnership with a number of organisations, including the Stroke Association, Headway and MND Association.
