Putting Staff on Furlough
If, after discussions with your 24 hour employment law helpline, you and they agree putting your staff on furlough is the best course of action, the Employment Law Helpline Adviser will instruct you on how to legally carry out this process. You will be provided with written guidance on how to approach this change with your Personal Assistants, plus template letters and employment contract amendments for you to pass on to them.
Once this has been fully agreed between you, your employment insurance company helpline and your Personal Assistants, you must inform our Payroll Service either by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 028 90 648546, if you do not have access to email. It will be useful if you can confirm with our Payroll Team that you have consulted with your helpline, however sharing this information with CILNI is at your discretion.
